Tour of the St Peters Billabong, a wetland and a haven for native wildlife.

The St Peters Billabong is recognised as an urban biodiversity 'hotspot' on the Adelaide Plains as well as a beautiful place to visit. The area is a rare example of a well-preserved, well-restored natural environment and is an interesting and tranquil place to visit. It is also home to Norwood Payneham St Peters first native bee hotel. Tours are led by by Friends of the Billabong.

The event is one hour guided tour that involves walking and standing on unsealed paths with minimal opportunities to sit down and route has a stair case.

Please wear enclosed shoes and hat. Bring a water bottle.
